Look. Talk. Love.

OK, here's the thing. You LOOK at a person, or a teacup in a vintage store, or a picture in a magazine or a just-bloomed, petal-spread, singularly splendid, pink peony rose.

You want to TALK to maybe that person, maybe another person about the person you looked at or maybe about the colossal beauty of the peony. You want to TALK with someone about the starkness of the winter tree branches you saw, how the sky looked at sundown.

Your feelings. Their feelings. Emotions. Connectedness. Rush of glorious kindness. Tender touch. Deep, wistful sigh after unwittingly holding your breath. LOVE. Our most grandiose ambition, our most common feeling, our sweetest amusement.
